------SUBDOMAIN COOKIE------------------------------ I have a web site that will have multiple subdomains. I need a cookie (or something) that will keep my users logged into my web site no matter which subdomain they visit. The cookie should log the user out after XXX time - that I can set and change myself. Is must work on every browser - not just IE. ------CONCIERGE SIDE-------------------------------- -Pull in events from Myspace I have a script that pulls in events into my web site's database from myspace.com I need to make sure it works properly and enters events into the right portion of the database. http://www.concierge.phillips.com With the events that I have in my database I can and do offer a service that is similar to what is on http://www.concierge.phillips.com So right now my users will get daily event information from me, but What I need is to also add restaurants, hotels, and clubs, and OTHER THINGS (that I will customize with my own data). The hotels, clubs and restaurants should come from concierge.com like on http://www.concierge.phillips.com What is needed for each table is the (ID Number, Name, Address, Phone number, URL, Description and whatevery else you know is needed.) When my events are delivered to users they get a URL on their mobile phone that when clicked has all of the current day's events listed for that city. So the restaurants, hotels, and clubs need to be added to that list as well. It should pick a different hotel, restaurant, club to showcase everyday and then rotate them so they are all show. Users should be able to check for the availabilty of their username before signing up. From the admin section the 'dynamic' section doesn’t post information into the summary page. This needs to be fixed. ------ADVERTISING----------------------------------- This section needs to be built out all the way. My event section allows users to get a text message that will show (recommended places to go like) hotels restaurants clubs and all of the events that are happening in that city on that day (ie, on Tuesday or Friday) So I need to allow advertisers/event promoters to advertise their events day by day in any city they want to. There will be XXXXX sections of adveristing space which will have different prices. When event promoters are listing their events (and sending out event messages) they will also have the option to advertise their events in the the special advertising section as well. This section will look like google adwords (a little bit). Then I need to able to charge the advertiser for their purchase right afterward. In the admin section I need to be able to control how much each of the advertising sections will cost day by day. Here is an example. Top spot = $10 per day 2nd spot = $7 per day 3rd spot = $5 per day So for the 10 days at the top spot will cost $100. The user will choose (from a calendar) which days to advertise on for each event they have. The script will always show the top price to the advertiser so if all of the placements are available they will only have the most expensive one shown to them. I need to be able to chose how many placements and how much they will cost each advertiser in the admin section. If you can come up with a better advertising solution please suggest it to me. ------FLASH UNIT--------------------------- With this unit advertisers can sign people up to their mobile database and deliver messages to their mobile phone immediately. This file can easily be put into any page. The advertisers can make as many groups as they want to send messages to different sets of people. These flash units need to be created so that the specific group number and promoter's ID in the swf file. And the events that are in the drop down menu are the event promoter's upcoming events. so when the user chooses an event from the drop down menu they get that event informaiton sent directly to their phone in a text message. (Of course these mesage credits come from thier buckets of credits that they buy from me. If it cannot then I need a way to be able to create this very quickly for each client that needs it. -------APIs-------------------------------- Right now I use clickatell for all of my messaging but I need to be able to use the API from www.eztexting.com Currenty it is only available for some of my clients, but not all over my site. I need this all over - which can be done in the config file. What is needed is make sure that all messages that are sent to numbers in the areas/countries listed on this page http://eztexting.com/show.php?d=coverage ONLY come from eztexting.com. The other numbers from all over the world can come from clickatell. You can use use/copy the API formula from the other pages. I am very familiar with my web site and I know how most of the pages work. Please feel free to ask me anything so that I can help make it go faster. I can find lines of codes and show you how the pages link together a lot faster than if you looked for it yourself through all of the pages- so please ask for help. I am very interested in keeping one programmer for this web site and all of the projects that I have for this.
