* This is an automatic back placement program used through betfair. -If i click on a box in an event next to a horse. I will call it a 'nomination' or 'nom' for short. -Barriers are a key element to the program. Barriers meaning; is a draw the horse is allocated for a race they compete in at the start. Barrier 1 is closest to the fence then it goes barrier 2,3,4 etc. - The lower the barrier, the more advantage it has over a horse that has a barrier draw of say 9, 10 or 14 etc. I may select a horse that has a barrier of 10 for eg. - I like to select horses that have a barrier advantage. Can obtain barriers from betfair, if not can get from another website and copy them over to program. (Explained on bottom of document) - But with some programming required, i need to identify scratchings also known as non runners. (Horse that don't end up running in the race) Some horses may have a barrier draw of 2 but may become a non-runner. If so a horse drawn outside 3 or more, can come in and draw a better barrier. - Bot starts at 0 mins + 15 seconds from jump time. It identifies scratchings or otherwise known as non-runners. The non-runners effects the barrier draw. I select horses that have a good barrier draw. If i select a horse, it may have a draw of 9. But with some horses that become non-runners from draws 1 to 8. The horse in 9 will come in. I like my selections to be drawn from 1 to 8. More to explain on an email if contacted. So if a horse is drawn barrier 9 then it will come into barrier 8. Once all data has been input. Then i will need a save button to save all data. 1. Need australian horse markets with option to click on an event. Need number, horse name and barrier (Explained below), 2. Click on an event 1 (9) - Number 1 will come from barrier 9 2 (5) - Number 2 will come from barrier 5 3 (7) - Number 3 will come from barrier 7 4 (1) - Number 4 will come from barrier 1 5 (2) - Number 5 will come from barrier 2 6 (10) - Number 6 will come from barrier 10 7 (8) - Number 7 will come from barrier 8 8 (3) - Number 8 will come from barrier 3 9 (6) - Number 9 will come from barrier 6 10 (4) - Number 10 will come from barrier 4 3. I will tick the horses that i want the bot to play. (PARAMETER: Need a barreir required box) The default 'barrier required' for a horse to become a nomination for the bot to play is 8 or lower. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 are good. If a horse has barrier 9,10,11,12,13 etc, then dont play that selection. For e.g. I have selected the 5. 1 (9) 2 (5) 3 (7) 4 (1) 5 (2) ******* 6 (10) 7 (8) 8 (3) 9 (6) - This is the only box selection. We identify this at 0+15 seconds before the jump minutes and place bet at 0 minutes. The stake box is there and price minimum etc. 4. Another example. 1 (9) SCRATCHED 2 (5) 3 (7) 4 (1) 5 (2) 6 (10) ******* 7 (8) 8 (3) 9 (6) 10 (4) Barrier required is 8. - At 0+15 seconds till jump time, we identify. We have the no.6, it has got barrier 10. The no.1 is out (Scratched). Now because the no. 1 is out......the no. 6 comes into barrier (9) now. It doesn't come into barrier (8). So the bot doesn't play it. 5. Another example. 1 (9) 2 (5) SCRATCHED 3 (7) 4 (1) SCRATCHED 5 (2) 6 (10) ******* 7 (8) SCRATCHED 8 (3) 9 (6) 10 (4) - In this one we have the no.6 at barrier 10. The identification is at 0+15 seconds from event time. We have 3 scratchings (Non-runners). So the no.6 comes into barrier (7). So yes - the bot can play this selection. 8. Another example 1 (9) 2 (5) SCRATCHED 3 (7) 4 (1) SCRATCHED 5 (2) 6 (10) ******* 7 (8) SCRATCHED 8 (3) 9 (6) 10 (4) ****** At 0+15 seconds we identify. The no.10 is good. The no.6 did have (10) but now with scratchings, it comes into barrier (7). So now we have 2 nominations. PARAMETERS REQUIRED * Need a set of boxes next to all horses. * We identify the scratchings and amount of nominations at 0+15 seconds till jump time of event. * If there is a bet placement. It's done at 0 minutes. * Parameters include Stake placement, minimum price submit, maximum price submit and barrier required, backing nominations max, nomination definer (Explained below) Backing maximum selections: If the bot has 2 nominations in the 1 event and they are both over $5.00 in price in the back column then I would like the stake halved and both selections to be backed. But only if both selections are over $5.00 in price. With one nomination in 1 event. It's a simple back submit. But having 2 nominations means backing these selections at half stake. PARAMETER 1: Backing nominations max = 2 PARAMETER 2: Min price submit = 5.00 PARAMETER 3: Nomination definer = 4.00 to 4.90 EG1 Stake = $20 Horse 3 - price 8.6 BACK HALF STAKE $10 Horse 10 - price 7.4 BACK HALF STAKE $10 EG2 H3 - price 12.00 BACK FULL STAKE $20 H7 - price 2.50 NO BACK Nomination definer parameter rule: We set a parameter that if the horse is odds of 4.00 or lower then only back the 1 selection. This is called nomination definer. EG3 H3 - Price 7.4 BACK HALF STAKE $10 H7 - Price 4.4 SUBMIT BACK HALF STAKE AT MIN PRICE WHICH IS ODDS OF 5.00 AND REMAINS UNMATCHED AT $10 The nomination definer rule comes in. Because it's set between 4.00 and 4.90. The price of the horse is at 4.4. So we submit an unmatched bet at 5.00. If it gets matched then great, if not, then it doesn't matter. With barrier positions. If you cannot obtain barrier positions from betfair, can we get them off a website. www.tabonline.com.au - Click racing - The in Races column click fields for each meeting. - In each race there is a column called 'Bar' meaning barrier. Would like to get 'tomorrow's markets' For e.g. if it's Friday at 6pm - I would like to obtain Saturdays' markets for the day from betfair. That way i can input all data on the night before. Because i work during the day and simply don't have any time to input that data on the day of the events.
